29th Annual Hot Rod & Custom Car Show

Brilliant paint, bright chrome and tricked out American street rides were showcased in the Ocean City Convention Center at the 29th Annual Ocean City Hot Rod and Custom Car Show March 14th and 15th. From wild customs to cool classics, extreme trucks to muscle cars, all were on exhibit for spectators to experience the Hot Rod Show World and more!

Playboy Playmate Julie McCullough, the "Funny Bunny," from the all time favorite TV show Growing Pains was there both days, signing autographs, meeting and greeting and posing for pictures.

Awards were given out to 1st and 2nd place in each class for the Street Show Division. Cash prizes and awards were given out to the top 10 Overall in the Show World Division. Special Awards in the Street Show went to Elisha Jone's 48 Chevy PU for Best Paint, Nick Caparella's 41 Willys for Best Engine, Hilda Gallatin & Roy Slonaker's 56 Chevy Sedan for Best Interior, Beverly Reedy's 67 Pontiac Firebird for Best Undercarriage and John Scordo's 55 Chevy for Best Display.

Top winners in the Pro Division included 4th Runner Up Mike Smyth's 30 Ford Pick-Up, 3rd Runner Up Wayne Roland Jr's 55 Chevy 2 door, 2nd Runner Up John Viola's 67 Chevy Camaro, 1st Runner Up Edward Thomas's 67 Chevy Camaro, and Best Overall Daniel Swisher's 57 Chevy Bel Air. The most popular spectator's choice went to Mike Smyth's 30 Ford PU that had a St. Patty's Day theme perfect for the weekend!

A fun time was had by all at the 29th Annual Ocean City Hot Rod and Custom Car Show!
